Inspiration for transformation. Lead the introduction of dynamic and involving digital processes that will enable us to become a stand-out end-to-end solutions provider for international logistics.

Thermotraffic is an international business operating at the cutting edge of cold storage transport and storage. Our aim is to become an end-to-end logistics provider, a transition that demands the innovation of our business processes and the digital transformation of our activities. Are you the experienced Business Analyst who can deliver this? Can your analytical skills penetrate to the heart of the matter? Do you have the powers of leadership and motivation to involve everyone in a dynamic change process? If so, find out more about this high-profile role within our future-focused and fast-moving company.

A large and international structure

Thermotraffic is a 100% subsidiary of the Nichirei Corporation. Our objective is to offer a seamless, end-to-end multi-temperature warehousing and logistics chain. In doing so we provide services to importers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors. You will therefore be working within a substantial and proven organization that offers all the resources necessary to do your job to the best of your ability.

Digital transformation and Operational Excellence

Thermotraffic is undergoing a digital and IT transformation. As our Business Analyst, your role in this process is to optimize and digitize our business processes, integrating the systems of our various locations as well as those of our customers. At all times, your objective is to promote a culture of Operational Excellence across Thermotraffic.

This requires you to manage and contribute to strategic and tactical projects. You will familiarize yourself with and analyse these processes. Based on these analyses, you propose improvements while establishing excellent relationships with all involved colleagues by seeking their input and sharing the outcomes of your analyses in a clear and understandable manner. In this way, you support the operational teams in achieving their KPIs.

Detailed daily tasks include:

·       Analyzing business processes and translating them into automated processes;

·       Identifying and analyzing any problems and developing solutions to optimize the performance and capabilities of our systems;

·       Consulting with customers to achieve process improvements and system integrations via interfaces;

·       Acting as a bridge between the user organization and IT services;

·       Checking system changes and preparing or adjusting user documentation and instructions. Where necessary, you guide your colleagues through this process.

You will spend approximately 20-30% of your time traveling to our locations in England, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

The Thermotraffic offer

Thermotraffic promotes an open, friendly and rewarding working environment based on long-term relationships. We want you to challenge yourself and we offer multiple training and courses that will help you to grow and realize your ambitions, perhaps internationally. You also benefit from:

·       Market based salary;

·       25 days of annual holidays plus bank holidays;

·       Pension and insurance;

·       Training opportunities;

·       The possibility to work from home part of the time.

This is a role that requires you to possess excellent analytical skills, a talent for process-oriented thinking, and an eye for both the details and the bigger picture. You are a critical thinker and a decisive actor with experience of change- and stakeholder management. And you have the strong communication skills that enable you to engage with all levels so that you bring people along and convince them of your ideas. Above all, you are able to chart a new course where necessary, through a solution-oriented and constructive approach.

We further ask for:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field;

·       At least three years of experience as a Business or Process Analyst, including experience with transformation projects;

·       Knowledge and experience with modern warehouse management systems and their implementation, knowledge of Power BI is a plus;

·       Knowledge of and experience with working according to Lean principles;

·       Excellent command of the English language.
