Our busy site at Bury St Edmunds is central to our UK operations and home to key teams and functions including a Finance department. A large and international structure

Thermotraffic is a 100% subsidiary of the Nichirei Corporation. Our objective is to offer a seamless, end-to-end multi-temperature warehousing and logistics chain. In doing so we provide services to importers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors. You will therefore be working within a substantial and proven organization that offers all the resources necessary to do your job to the best of your ability.

Teamwork meets interesting work

As the Accounts Assistant at Thermotraffic you will join a supportive and team-focused Finance department. Your main role is to contribute towards the purchase ledger function, but you also support the accounts team across a range of further activities. Reporting to the Finance Manager your day-to-day tasks include:

  • Processing, coding and matching invoices;
  • Supplier statement reconciliation and supplier payment runs;
  • Supplier query investigation and resolution;
  • Bank postings/reconciliations;
  • Assisting with cashbook maintenance.

The other baseline requirements are:

  • 3+ years of purchase ledger experience combined with a wider knowledge of the accounts function;
  • Shipping experience is a big plus;
  • Confident systems and IT skills.
