Thermotraffic is a leading international supplier of specialized, temperature-controlled logistics services to importers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors. Is this something you can help us to deliver as a proven Electrical Engineer with a general and specialized knowledge of electrical engineering and facilities maintenance? Can you ensure a safe, clean and smooth-running site while guiding employees and applying rigorous attention to detail? If so, please read on to find out more about a role in which you will be highly valued by your colleagues and Thermotraffic.

Safety and excellence

Your core task in this Electrical Engineer role is to monitor and maintain the electrical aspects of the cold store building, its refrigeration plant and other applicable services to agreed standards. In doing so you deliver excellent housekeeping to the levels required by Thermotraffic and its customers. Needless to say, you manage all work in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy and safe systems of work.

In addition, you occasionally provide support at other Thermotraffic sites and deputise for other electrical engineers in their absence. When necessary you perform out of hours call outs to attend to the refrigeration plant and to take action to restore normal operational conditions.

You report day-to-day issues to the Site Manager and the Head of Engineering on all technical matters.
