 Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of Customer Service Administrators and Warehouse Operatives

  • Coordinate and allocate daily workloads in line with operational priorities

  • Manage customer accounts, reporting and administration

  • Ensure adequate staffing levels, including cover for holidays, absences, weekends and bank holidays

  • Plan resources effectively to avoid delays and ensure smooth operations

  • Maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment

  • Generate, check and issue weekly customer invoices accurately and on time

  • Monitor performance and ensure company procedures and customer standards are met

  • Investigate and resolve operational issues and non-conformances

  • Implement and monitor corrective actions

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers

  • Ensure efficient use of warehouse space based on stock movement

  • Support stock control coordination

  • Ensure continuity of service during team absences

  • Act as deputy for the Site Manager when required

 About You

You are a proactive team leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

  • Experience in a supervisory or team leader role

  • Strong people management and communication skills

  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a “can-do” attitude

  • Organised and able to prioritise effectively

  • IT literate with strong administrative and numerical skills

  • Experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution (preferred)

  • Ability to implement operational and Health & Safety procedures

  • Comfortable working in a cold store environment

Experience in temperature-controlled logistics is an advantage, but not essential.

What We Offer

  • 25 days annual leave

  • Pension and insurance schemes

  • Training and development opportunities

  • Career progression within a growing organisation

  • A supportive and professional working environment
