As a Cold Store Operator at Wrexham, you perform a wide range of activities, contributing to a smooth-running warehouse that delivers for Thermotraffic and our customers. We strive for very high standards across all our operations, including the health, safety and welfare of everyone. And every day you aim to play your part in ensuring zero errors and omissions across all activities!

You will work with great colleagues across a selection of day, afternoon and night shifts. Everyone supports each other and works together to get things done in the best possible way.

Your daily tasks include:

• Keeping your working area clean at all times;

• Manual stock handling;

• Checking stock with paperwork;

• Using RF guns and labelling stock;

• Using an inverter and pallet wrapper.

You also perform any other associated duties, and if you have any problems, your Supervisor is always there to help.

To apply for this job as a Cold Store Operator, you must be accurate, good with numbers and physically able to work within a cold store environment. You are also able to learn quickly so that you can follow operational procedures and meet our standards. If that sounds like you, please contact us. The other requirements are:

• Previous experience in warehousing, distribution/logistics is an advantage;

• Experience of working in the cold storage industry is preferred but not essential;

• Reach truck driving experience and a Counterbalance Forklift license is an advantage;

• Flexibility as hours will sometimes change depending on business needs;

• Solid spoken and written English communication skills.
